Yoga Nidra

Join Eimear as she leads out her monthly Yoga Nidra Practice.

Settle yourself with blankets and cushions, take up your space. Taking this time out of your day to simply rest into a deeper state of blissful awareness.

Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," offers deep relaxation, significantly reducing stress, anxiety, and fatigue by activating the body's rest-and-digest response (parasympathetic nervous system), leading to improved sleep, mental clarity, emotional balance, and even healing for trauma like PTSD, by guiding the brain from high-alert beta waves into restorative alpha and delta states

It is a practice for everyone No previous experience of yoga is necessary.

Yoga Nidra draws our awareness inwards, to explore that liminial space between wakefulness and sleep.

Props including mats, blankets and bolsters are all available at the studio.
