Yoga Quarter – Terms & Conditions (FAQs)

Yoga Quarter is a small, independently run business. Everything we offer — classes, trainings, retreats, and studio space — is carefully planned and resourced in advance. These FAQs are here to be clear and transparent, and to help us stay sustainable while continuing to offer a warm, inclusive space for practice and learning. Thank you for supporting small business.
By making a purchase with Yoga Quarter, you are confirming that you have read and agree to the terms below.
Classes, Class Passes & Studio Rental
Can I get a refund for a class pass or studio rental?
Unfortunately, no. All purchases for classes, class passes, and studio rentals are non‑refundable. This includes deposits.
What if I don’t manage to use my class pass in time?
Class passes must be used within the timeframe stated at the time of purchase. We’re unable to offer extensions if a pass isn’t used within this period.
What happens if I need to cancel a studio rental?
Studio rentals are non‑refundable, including cancellations or changes to your plans.
Trainings, Courses & Retreats
Are trainings, courses, or retreats refundable?
No. All payments for trainings, courses, and retreats are non‑refundable, including deposits.
What if I can’t attend a training, course, or retreat after booking?
Please let us know as soon as possible. If we’re able to fill your place from a waiting list, we may be able to offer a transfer of credit. However, this can’t be guaranteed.
Can I give my place to someone else?
Yes. You’re welcome to transfer your place to another person. We just ask that you share their full name, email address, and phone number with us in advance so we can confirm details directly with them.
Will all trainings and courses definitely run?
Trainings and courses are subject to minimum participant numbers. If we don’t reach this minimum, we may need to amend or cancel the event. In this case, you will be offered a full refund.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, payment plans are available for trainings, courses, and retreats.
When does full payment need to be completed?
• Trainings: full payment is due 15 days before the start date
• Courses: full payment is due 15 days before the start date
• Retreats: full payment is due 4 weeks before the start date
If full payment isn’t received by these deadlines, your place may be offered to someone on the waiting list.
Travel & Insurance (Retreats)
What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
Yoga Quarter isn’t responsible for missed or cancelled flights or other travel disruptions that may affect your attendance.
Do I need travel insurance for retreats?
Yes. You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance for retreats, and we strongly recommend that you do so.

Disclaimer
I agree that I will not hold Yoga Quarter or any of the staff working for Yoga Quarter responsible for any injuries or misfortunes that may occur while attending services.
I understand that I alone am responsible for my personal safety.
I understand that group classes cannot be individually tailored for specific clients and/or their related medical conditions or injuries.
I agree that if I have a medical condition or injury I should always seek medical advice and have the consent of a medical practitioner before practising yoga.
I hereby release and agree to hold Yoga Quarter harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of Yoga Quarter, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from Yoga Quarter. I understand that this release discharges Yoga Quarter from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against Yoga Quarter with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from Yoga Quarter. This liability waiver and release extends to Yoga Quarter together with all owners, partners, employees and freelance teachers and therapists using the premises.
