Thresholds: A Yin Yoga Practice
Join Rosie for a supportive 90-minute Yin practice to explore and honour the thresholds, both inner and outer, of this transitional time of year.
As the natural world turns toward the darker months, you may also feel shifts within yourself. Yin is a powerful, body-based practice that invites you to slow down and notice what is moving within in stillness. Its physical, energetic and emotional benefits can be a great support through times of change.
What we do in a Yin practice
Come into supported shapes on the ground based on feel, not alignment cues, to create a feeling of intriguing discomfort.
Stay for a time, exploring the landscape of stillness, breath, thoughts and sensation within you.
Release the shape and experience ‘rebound’ (the magic bit!).
What Yin feels like
A practice of meeting yourself where you are in a way you may never have before.
An opportunity to drop into a being state, a pause from the doing.
I really can’t tell you… experiencing it is the only way to truly know!
An evening to rest, process and nourish yourself. All are welcome, no previous experience required.
