EXPLORING BALANCE: A GENTLE BREATH-LED YOGA PRACTICE with MAGGIE


Maggie’s Gentle Breath-led Yoga classes begin again at 11.30am on Thursday

mornings. First class is on 22nd January. She invites you this term to “find peace

within one breath at a time”

Breathwork is central to the yoga practice that Maggie offers and she is

passionate about making yoga accessible to all.

Her approach focuses on guiding participants toward greater self-awareness and

self-care during the yoga class. These classes blend movement, breathwork,

mudras, meditation and relaxation to help you leave feeling restored in body

and mind.

If you are new to yoga, looking to re-establish a regular practice, or seeking to

explore the benefits of a breath-led yoga practice, Maggie’s classes offer a

nurturing space for all.

About Maggie

Maggie began her career as an Occupational Therapist working in the NHS.

Nowadays she has her own private practice as a certified yoga teacher,

breathwork coach, Chi Me instructor and holistic therapist.

She has been exploring her own yoga practice for over 25 years which led her to

complete Heart of Yoga teacher training with Jivani Yoga. She has completed

further training in Adapting yoga for those with a cancer diagnosis, Restorative

yoga, Breathwork coaching and recently completed the Advanced practitioner’s

Diploma with Dru Yoga.

This diverse training and experience enables Maggie to adapt her teaching in

response to the needs of those in her class.

She also has a deep love of creativity, including poetry and art, which informs

her mindful approach to teaching.
